Four WSPRA members–Ty Beaver, Brittany Kaple, Cortny Martin and Amanda Richter–have been named to NSPRA's 2018 class of 35 under 35. This distinction is given to young professionals (under the age of 35), who have been nominated by their NSPRA peers for demonstrating leadership and excellence in their school public relations careers and making a positive difference in their school districts.
NSPRA Front-Runners are members identified by the NSPRA Executive Board as emerging leaders who are doing outstanding work for their schools, their chapters and for NSPRA. They have demonstrated professional leadership at the state and national level and/or have been recognized for innovation and excellence through NSPRA award programs or presentations.
NSPRA awarded WSPRA with two 2018 Mark of Distinction as an Exemplary Chapter in the special focus areas of Professional Development/PR Skill-Building and Membership Building. The judges were impressed with the thought and planning that went into designing programs to meet specific member needs.
