  • Why she's running for Vice President of Memebership:

    anaI would like to continue serving on the WSPRA board because it has been a great experience, as it has allowed me to continue to develop my leadership skills. I have enjoyed learning from my peers and have developed a deeper understanding of what it takes to run a successful organization. WSPRA continues to provide me with amazing learning opportunities and I truly enjoy giving back and supporting in any capacity that I can.

    Personal Bio:

    Ana Munguia serves as the Community Connections Manager for the Pasco School District. She oversees the District’s PEAK! (Partners in Educating All Kids) program, a business-to-school partnership program that pairs up local businesses and community organizations with PSD schools to support students. She also oversees all District level events including the District’s VIP Days, where very important parents and very interested patrons get a first-hand look inside one of the District’s schools and get to experience a day in the life of a student.

    Outside of work, Ana is a member of the Tri-Cities Hispanic Chamber of Commerce and has been involved with the Hispanic Academic Achievers Program (HAAP) scholarship committee. 

    Ana holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Eastern Washington University and a Master of Education in Educational Leadership and Program Administrator certification from Washington State University Tri-Cities.
