Emerging Leader Award

About the Award
The WSPRA Emerging Leader Award recognizes one individual with less than five years experience in school communications for demonstrating excellence and leadership in their work.
To be considered for the Emerging Leaders Award, nominees must:
- Have no more than five years of professional experience working in school public relations, school communications or school marketing at the time of nomination;
- Have been a member of WSPRA for at least one year at the time of nomination; and
- Be active and involved in WSPRA.
Nomination Process (not currently accepting nominations)
To nominate someone for the Emerging Leader Award, please complete the nomination form.
The form collects information including:
- Name of the person you are nominating and their contact information.
- A narrative explaining why you believe they deserve Emerging Leader Award recognition (not to exceed 1,000 words).
- Optional: Short testimonial statements from others who endorse the nomination (limited to an additional 1,000 words).
The individual who nominates the Emerging Leader Award winner will be notified in advance of the WSPRA annual conference. The WSPRA board will work with the nominator to ensure the winner is in attendance at the award presentation.
