    Let's go beyond newsletters and robo-calls. How do we develop a growth mindset when engaging our families? We'll also explore ways to better engage and influence potential employees.

    8:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. — Growth Mindset Workshop
    What is a growth mindset? Why should we and how can we promote and foster growth mindsets in our districts? Join Kendra Coates, D.Ed., a representative from Mindset Works, for a half-day, interactive workshop that will delve into how to use Journey Mapping to apply a growth mindset lens to the communication process and increase engagement in our districts.

    12:30 - 1:30 p.m. — Lunch with Introductions and an Icebreaker

    1:30 - 2:30 p.m. —Essential Roadmap to Building a Social Media Recruiting Program
    Looking beyond job fairs and college visits, building a strong social media recruitment strategy takes planning and collaboration. Adriana Kevill, marketing wizard at San-Francisco based recruitment and branding firm KRT Marketing, will share step-by-step tactics for planning and launching a recruitment program through social media channels to reach our hardest to fill positions.  

    2:30 - 3:30 p.m. — From College to the K12 Classroom: How to Grab the Attention of Future Teachers
    With college graduation right around the corner and teacher recruitment in full swing, how can districts ensure they're sending the right message in the right method to the right people? Representatives from our state's higher education institutions will share their insights on our state's next generation of teachers.
