4 WSPRA Members Named to NSPRA's Newest Class of 35 Under 35

Four WSPRA members–Ty Beaver, Brittany Kaple, Cortny Martin and Amanda Richter–have been named to NSPRA's 2018 class of 35 under 35. This distinction is given to young professionals (under the age of 35), who have been nominated by their NSPRA peers for demonstrating leadership and excellence in their school public relations careers and making a positive difference in their school districts.

This group of emerging leaders is proving that strategic communication is timeless, extending easily to our next generation of school public relations professionals.

Congratulations to all of this year's winners, especially the four representing Washington:

  • Ty Beaver, Richland School District, Richland, WA
  • Brittany Kaple, East Valley School District, Yakima, WA
  • Cortny Martin, North Thurston Public Schools, Lacey, WA
  • Amanda Richter, Vancouver Public Schools, Vancouver, WA

"While the faces of NSPRA are changing, the dedication, professionalism and enthusiasm for our profession remain the same," said Executive Director Rich Bagin, APR. "The insight of these 35 individuals is invaluable, and we look forward to seeing them grow in their careers."
