NSPRA19 Wrap-Up and Update on #NSPRASeattle

WSPRA members at NSPRA

About 30 WSPRA members traveled to the other Washington for the 66th annual seminar of the National School Public Relations Association in July. We packed the Washington, D.C., boardroom where Northwest regional attendees gathered on Sunday, July 14. Curtis Campbell, our regional representative, provided an update on progress that WSPRA has made to bring NSPRA to Seattle within the next few years.

WSPRA Vice President of Eastern Washington Brittany Kaple brought her popular cookies for members to give away during networking events to help promote #NSPRASeattle. We are optimistic that NSPRA will see the advantages of bringing NSPRA to Seattle: (1) Elevate the status of NSPRA in the Northwest region, and (2) Provide valuable and equitable professional development opportunities to all school communicators.
